Plain English summary

Teletraan Systems does not track you, sell your data, or run analytics on visitors. Most tools run entirely in your browser and never send data anywhere. A small number of tools call external APIs to retrieve results you request. Those are noted on each tool page. Contact form submissions go to our email. That is the full picture.

Who we are

Teletraan Systems provides IT, cybersecurity, automation, and digital forensics consulting to small businesses in Oregon and Washington. Our main website is at teletraansystems.com. Our free browser-based tools are at tools.teletraansystems.com.

What we collect

Contact form submissions

When you submit the contact form at teletraansystems.com/contact, your name, email address, and message are transmitted through Web3Forms (a form processing service) to our inbox at [email protected]. That data is not stored on any server Teletraan Systems operates. Web3Forms' privacy policy governs how they handle transmission data.

Browser storage (tool preferences)

The tools subdomain uses your browser's localStorage to remember your preferences: which tools you have favorited, your recently used tools, and your display mode. This data never leaves your device. It is not sent to any server. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

Cloudflare access logs

Our sites are hosted on Cloudflare Pages and proxied through Cloudflare's network. Cloudflare records standard access logs including IP addresses, request timestamps, and pages visited. This is infrastructure-level logging. Teletraan Systems does not have a separate analytics system. Cloudflare's privacy policy governs this data.

What we do not collect

  • No analytics tracking (no Google Analytics, no Plausible, no tracking pixels)
  • No advertising networks or retargeting
  • No cookies: we do not set any cookies
  • No persistent user accounts
  • No server-side storage of tool inputs or outputs
  • We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties for marketing

How tools handle your data

Local-only tools

Most tools on tools.teletraansystems.com process all data locally in your browser. Nothing you type into those tools is transmitted to Teletraan Systems or any third party. Examples include hash generators, Base64 encoder/decoder, JSON tools, text utilities, password analysis, encryption, JWT parser, and many others.

Tools that call external APIs

Some tools retrieve information from external services to produce their results. When you use those tools, the data you submit is sent directly from your browser to that external service, not through Teletraan's servers. Tools that use external services are noted on their individual pages. Current examples:

  • CVE Lookup — queries the NIST National Vulnerability Database (nvd.nist.gov)
  • MAC Address Lookup — queries macvendors.com
  • IP Lookup — queries ipapi.co
  • Domain Lookup / Subdomain Finder — queries Cloudflare DNS (1.1.1.1) and crt.sh
  • Shorten a Link — sends the URL you provide to v.gd or is.gd (the service you choose)

Tools that open external services

Some tools open third-party services in new browser tabs. For example, Reverse Image Search opens image search engines, and OSINT tools provide links to public lookup services. Teletraan Systems does not transmit data to those services. Your browser does, when you choose to use them.

Third-party services

Teletraan Systems is not responsible for the privacy practices of external services referenced or queried by tools on this site. Review the privacy policies of those services before using them with sensitive or confidential data.

Security

Both sites are served over HTTPS. All infrastructure runs on Cloudflare Pages. We do not operate databases that store credentials, financial data, or personally identifiable information. Tool inputs and outputs exist only in your browser session.

Oregon and Washington residents

Oregon's Consumer Privacy Act (OCPA) and Washington's My Health MY Data Act may apply to personal data processing in certain circumstances. Because Teletraan Systems does not collect, store, sell, or process personal data beyond the limited contact form and infrastructure logging described above, most statutory provisions do not apply to our practices.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We do not collect email addresses for marketing, so we have no way to notify subscribers directly. Check this page periodically if you want to stay current.
