Acceptance
By using teletraansystems.com or tools.teletraansystems.com (the "Sites"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Sites.
Who we are
Teletraan Systems is a cybersecurity and IT consulting firm serving businesses in Oregon and Washington. Our tools subdomain provides free browser-based utilities for IT professionals, security practitioners, researchers, and small business operators.
Permitted use
You may use the Sites for lawful purposes only. Prohibited uses include but are not limited to:
- Facilitating unauthorized access to systems, networks, or data
- Stalking, harassment, doxxing, or unauthorized surveillance of individuals
- Fraud, phishing, or social engineering attacks
- Any activity that violates applicable federal, state, or local law
- Automated scraping or bulk use of tool interfaces in ways that degrade service for others
Authorized use: security and research tools
Several tools on tools.teletraansystems.com are designed for security testing, vulnerability research, and digital investigation. These include but are not limited to: Nmap Builder, Google Dork Builder, Payload Encoder, Subdomain Finder, CVE Lookup, Hash Identifier, and OSINT tools.
Use these tools only on systems, accounts, networks, domains, and data that you own or have explicit written authorization to test or investigate.
Unauthorized use of security testing tools against systems you do not own or control may violate:
- The Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (18 U.S.C. § 1030)
- Oregon's Computer Crime statute (ORS § 164.377)
- Washington's Computer Trespass law (RCW 9A.52.110)
- Other applicable federal, state, and international laws
Teletraan Systems is not responsible for how you use these tools. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use is lawful and authorized.
No warranty
The tools and information on the Sites are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Teletraan Systems makes no representations or warranties regarding accuracy, completeness, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
Tool outputs are for informational and educational purposes only. Do not rely solely on tool output for security decisions, legal proceedings, or other high-stakes determinations.
Not professional advice
Nothing on the Sites (including tool outputs, threat descriptions, security guidance, or any other content) constitutes legal, forensic, medical, financial, or professional security advice. Consult a qualified professional before acting on information found here.
Tool data handling
Most tools process data locally in your browser and do not transmit your inputs to Teletraan Systems. Some tools call external third-party APIs to retrieve results. External API tools are noted on their respective pages. By using an API-backed tool, you accept that the data you submit will be transmitted to that external service.

External services
Some tools link to or query external third-party services including but not limited to NIST NVD, macvendors.com, ipapi.co, crt.sh, v.gd, is.gd, Google, Bing, TinEye, and others. Teletraan Systems does not control those services, does not guarantee their availability or accuracy, and is not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Teletraan Systems and its principals are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Sites or any tools, including but not limited to:
- Reliance on tool output for security, legal, or business decisions
- Disruption, damage, or liability resulting from security testing activity
- Unavailability of external APIs or third-party services
- Inaccuracy in publicly sourced data (NVD, WHOIS, DNS, IP geolocation, etc.)
Intellectual property
Site content, design, and copy are owned by Teletraan Systems. Tool outputs you generate are yours to use. You may not reproduce or redistribute site content for commercial purposes without written permission.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Multnomah County, Oregon or Clark County, Washington, at Teletraan Systems' election.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms periodically. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Sites after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
